What's treated

Clinicians can treat acne, acne scarring, aging skin such as fine lines, dark spots and uneven skin tone, unwanted facial hair, and the redness and bumps of rosacea.

A clinician may prescribe a cream or wash you put on your skin, made with medicines such as tretinoin, spironolactone, azelaic acid, tranexamic acid, eflornithine or ivermectin. Your clinician decides which medicine, if any, and how to use it.

Many of these skin medicines are compounded. Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved, and FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

Most creams are $79, billed monthly. Your plan renews automatically until you cancel, and you see the full price before you pay.
